There are 3 categories of Study Groups at The Orchard. They are:

  • Family Groups - these are a series of classes that will make you an official covenant family member of The Orchard Church.
  • Foundation Groups - designed to equip believers to make disciples, who make disciples and to shape sound doctrine and DNA of believers.
  • Faith Topic Groups - designed to address specific subject matters (e.g. - parenting, marriage, finances, etc.).

Exploring Membership

Study on Romans

This study focuses on the apostle Paul’s message to the Romans of the good news of the gospel, theological truths, practical applications for living the Christian life, and the righteousness that we have been clothed with by grace, through faith in Christ.

Spiritual Disciplines

By illustrating why the disciplines are important, showing how each one will help you grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and offering practical suggestions for cultivating them on a long term basis, Spiritual Disciplines for the Christian Life provides you with a refreshing opportunity to embrace the pursuit of holiness through a lifelong delight in the disciplines. This class will be co-taught by Orchard Elders and Teaching Team.

Gospel-Centered Life

Many Christians talk about the gospel, but do we understand the gospel and know how to apply it? This study will expose the truths of the gospel and how new and seasoned Christians can understand and apply it to their lives.

Disciple-Making Parent

Do you long to make an eternal impact on your kids? Our recent family sermon series has encouraged us to think deeper about the limited time we have to make disciples in our home? Study of Hebrews for Young Adults

God's Way of Handling Money

This study centers on Biblical stewardship and improving our relationship with Christ through financial obedience. Yes, God gives financial instructions on ownership, responsibility, planning, giving, and teaching your children about money. We’ll dive deep into the Scriptures to hear what He has to say on the subject.

Digging Deep in The Word

Salvation frees us from the penalty and power of sin, but what about the flesh we still live in? Ladies, come dig deep into Romans 6-8 with us as we discover how justification by faith profoundly affects our day-by-day living through the Holy Spirit's power in our lives. (Note, this is a Precepts study for women.)

How does a Christian make ethical decisions? What role does government play in a Christian’s life? Women's Systematic Theology

Whether you realize it or not, you are a theologian. Every day you live out a practical theology, an existing understanding of God with a corresponding worldview. Your working theology shapes and informs the way you think and live. But is your theology in line with God's Word? This Group will examine your theology and worldview through the lens of Scripture.

Philippians: Rejoice in Christ (Women's Study)

How could the apostle Paul rejoice while imprisoned? What drives Christian unity within the church? How do we pursue the mind of Christ? We will find the answers to these questions and more as we study Paul’s deeply personal letter to the Philippians. Childcare is available by registration only and will close on September 11 however you will still be able to register for a class after childcare has closed.
