God's Goodness

Thank God for His goodness in our lives. All throughout the scripture we are shown and reminded of God’s goodness. Even though time and time again even when we fail Him; He never leaves us. And even when we deserved the cross; He took the cross for us. For God is good and will not leave us. God’s goodness is that He is the perfect and the all-sufficient savior that we need. So let’s take time to thank God for His goodness.

Thank God for His goodness through the Orchard Church
Psalm 23:6 “Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.”

Thank God for His goodness through the staff
Psalm 31:19 “Oh, how abundant is your goodness, which you have stored up for those who fear you and worked for those who take refuge in you, in the sight of the children of mankind!”

Thank God for His goodness in the good seasons of life
Romans 8:23 “And we know that for those who love God al things work together for good, for those who are called according to His purpose!”

Thank God for His goodness in low seasons of life.
Nahum 1:7 “The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; He knows those who take refuge in Him.”

Thank God for His goodness in your family
Psalm 100:5 “For the Lord is good; His steadfast love endures forever, and His faithfulness to all generations.”

Thank God for His goodness in your friendships
Micah 6:8 “He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?

Thank God for His goodness in our mission of making disciples
Exodus 33:19 “And he said, ‘I will make all my goodness pass before you and will proclaim before you my name ‘The Lord.’ And I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will show mercy on whom I will show mercy.’”

Thank God for His goodness in our lives
Psalm 34:8 “Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good! Blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him!”
