Day 28 - John Nix

Dec 24, 2022    Lead Pastor John Nix

One of my favorite quotes comes from Mother Teresa, who said, "Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love." As Christians, we are called to love our neighbor as ourselves. This means that we need to be visible examples of Jesus Christ in order for others to see Him. We don't have to do big, flashy things to show the love of God. Even small things can make a BIG difference in someone's life.

How can we let others see Jesus this Christmas?

1. By giving generously of our time, resources, and talents.

2. By being patient with family members and friends, even when things get stressful.

3. By showing compassion to those who are struggling or lonely during the holidays.

4. By speaking kind words and encouraging those around us.

5. By being quick to forgive when someone offends us.

6. By trying to brighten someone's day, even if it's just a small act of kindness.

7. By praying for others and sharing how we prayed for them.

When we give generously, love unconditionally, and forgive freely, we can make a difference in the lives of those around us and point them toward the hope that only comes from Christ Himself.
