International MISSIONS

Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age" (Matthew 28:18-20).

We believe that every follower of Jesus Christ is called to fulfill the “Great Commission,” which Jesus spoke of in Matthew, just before He left the world and returned to heaven. Two ways The Orchard Church fulfills this mission through short term missions trips and supporting world missionaries.

Every year, The Orchard sends missionaries on trips of one to two-week durations both locally and globally. We equip each missionary to step out in faith and experience the global body of Christ while responding to the Lord’s call.

These missionaries may go to a remote corner of the world. They then return home and have an opportunity to continue to live out their faith and build relationships. Not only does God use short-term missions to advance the Gospel and disciple believers on foreign soil, He uses missions to transform the lives of those who accept the calling to go!

The Orchard supports missionaries who live around the world. World Missions educates our congregation about the global church and God’s desire for everyone from every nation to know Him. Learn what God is doing through servants around the globe and be encouraged to incorporate the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20) into your daily life as you learn, pray, give or go.
