You matter. You matter to God, and you matter to us. We need each other, we need to gather corporately in worship on Sunday mornings, and we need community as we do life together. In Acts 2, we see the Lord blessing the efforts and obedience of the early church as they gathered in worship together and in their homes. “And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved.” (Acts 2:46-47)

Starting Point is what it sounds like, a great first step for anyone! This 4-week group meets several times throughout the year on Sunday mornings. During Starting Point, you can meet people who are also looking for connection, get to know some Group leaders and staff and get a feel for what it looks like to be family at The Orchard. At the end of each term, we will come alongside you to help determine your Next Step. The next Starting Point will take place from October 24 - November 14 in the Front Room at our 11:00 service.

At The Orchard, our Community Groups are a smaller manifestation of our larger family of missionary servants, sent to make disciples. This specific part of our big family at The Orchard has the same mission and purpose as the rest of the church, and that is to BE FAMILY, LIVE WITH PURPOSE AND MAKE DISCIPLES WHO MAKE DISCIPLES. These Groups are life-on-life small Groups made up of individuals, couples, and/or families who meet for fellowship, study, accountability, and discipleship. We have Community Groups meeting all over the greater Memphis area throughout the week. We would love to help you find a group that best fits your stage and phase of life.

The Orchard Family, takes seriously the teaching of sound doctrine, as we have been instructed in Titus 2. Orchard Study Groups are meant to provide a space to deep dive into God’s Word and how He has called us to live. In these quarter-long Groups, we typically teach through books of the Bible but also offer occasional topical studies as well. Study Groups take place on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights. Click here to see the full list of Study Groups. Study Groups serve as Biblical education and training. These groups generally last for six to eight weeks, with a variety of topics offered each semester. If you desire to dig deeper into God's Word with others in a small group setting, see the opportunities below. We have groups on-site on Wednesdays and Sundays.
