In today's culture, there are many definitions of how we define manhood and womanhood. This sermon series seeks to provide clarity on these topics and reveal what God's Word says, which is the only source of truth, about each of these roles.
What is the most courageous thing you have ever done? What motivated you to do it? Join us as Lead Pastor Sam Shaw as he walks us through 1 Corinthians 16:13-14, detailing what it means to have Biblical courage and strength.
For the first time in its history, Western Civilization is required to define marriage and family. Culture is asking foundational questions, and we have to remember that we must look to the scripture for the answers. This is not a cultural war; it is a spiritual war. The church must declare God’s beautiful design for marriage and family, affirming the goodness of marriage and singleness while holding fast to Biblical Womanhood. Submission is a Gospel Word that serves as a testimony to the world about Christ and his church. Submission and love are acts of worship and a demonstration of our love for Christ. Marriage points to a greater picture, a greater glory, and greater hope
Feminine glory is suited only for a woman, but when women forsake their feminine glory in pursuit of something other than God’s design, they abandon their God-given glory. God’s plan outlined in the Scriptures is a vision for womanhood that is not just right and to be obeyed, it is experientially better than anything the world has to offer. Biblical womanhood does not only apply to those who are married or have children. Single women and women without children of any age are meant for full glorious and godly womanhood.
