Family matters at The Orchard and membership is one of the next steps to becoming family. Church membership is a way to describe the kind of relationship God calls believers to have with one another.
If you are ready to take the next step to learn about what it means to be a member of the Orchard, Exploring Membership is the class for you!

Exploring Membership is a class that enables you to explore what we believe, how we function, and what membership means. You will have the opportunity to meet our pastors and staff, as well as ask any questions you may have about The Orchard.

When you are family, you are known and belong. The elders at The Orchard strive to know and shepherd members well. After attending Exploring Membership, you can choose to complete a Membership Application and then will be able to schedule a Pastoral Care Meeting to officially join The Orchard family.

baptism

Through baptism, we share what God has done in our lives, and we commit to growing in our relationship with Jesus Christ. Baptism is intended only for those who have professed faith in Jesus Christ and can give sufficient testimony to the basics of Christian beliefs. We baptize by immersion because it is not only the original significance of the word but also best symbolizes the reality to which baptism points—our death and resurrection in Christ.

“We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life.” (Romans 6:4)

If you are ready to take the next step of faith with believer’s baptism, please complete a request for baptism and a staff member will be in contact with you about next steps. Baptism following salvation is a prerequisite for becoming a member at The Orchard.
