Day 25 - John Nix

Dec 21, 2022    Lead Pastor John Nix

Have you ever seen Jesus? I don’t mean just a picture of Him or an image on a screen. I mean, have you ever seen Him through the eyes of faith? The Bible says that “whoever sees Me sees the One who sent Me” (John 12:45), so when we see Jesus, we are seeing God Himself. This Christmas, we are praying that you will "see Jesus and believe."

Reading the Bible is one way to "see Jesus" this Christmas. He is on every page, in every story, and in every verse. Another great way to "see Jesus" this Christmas is by coming to The Orchard. When we gather to worship, it's an opportunity for us to see Jesus. We can see Him in the way that we come together as one body, united in our faith. We can see Him in the way that we sing, pray, and hear his word.

This Christmas, we encourage you not to get lost in the hustle and bustle but instead take some time to "see Jesus and believe." Read the Bible or go to church to learn more about Him. Remember that He has the power to forgive your sins and give you eternal life. Most importantly, believe in Him! Merry Christmas!
